Daisetsuzan (大雪山) is Hokkaido's biggest national park. It protects a precipitous zone of basically untainted wild, which is bigger than some of Japan's littler prefectures. It is a heaven for climbers, open air significant others, deer and chestnut bears, and the primary spot in Japan to see pre-winter hues and snow every years.
